We are looking for a Regional Operations Manager to report directly to the Commercial Operations Manager, BMS. This is a regional role, based on the home.

You will be competent and confident in facilitating and conducting visits and meetings with Bridgestone partner dealers. You will need to have very good communication skills to be able to understand and solve certain problems and trends, and you are also very analytical.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be allocated specific Bridgestone partner dealers within a specific geographic area.
Your key objectives will be:

  • Ensure all BSPs are compliant with service level agreements for fleets, in terms of fleet inspections, administration & operational procedures
  • Ensure all BSP’s are ‘connected’ to Bridgestone in some format so we may take real-time fleet inspections & complete job card data
  • Identify & action financial savings through operational efficiencies with allocated BSP’s, develop a ‘business improvement plan’ where necessary & monitor regularly
  • Monitor these actions to completion &/or propose alternative ways of servicing the business
  • Develop closer relationships with senior & influential personnel within your allocated BSP’s & ensure we support them where required and vice versa
  • Carry out ‘ad-hoc’ audits of BSP vans or processes
  • Promote Bridgestone mobility solutions at all times, such as Fleetcare & Webfleet
  • Liaise with key national account managers to support fleet compliance/operational improvement
  • Be able to demonstrate the value of the Regional Operations Manager position, and what this means to Bridgestone
  • Provide a weekly report to your line manager – identifying any specific issues such as risks, opportunities etc
  • Host regional key operations team meetings with allocated BSP’s
  • Attend meetings as requested to complete your duties
  • You will be given specific cost reduction targets per ppk fleet which you will be responsible for achieving
  • Profit improvement of key PPK contracts – working with BSP’s to find efficiency gains to reduce service costs
  • Build a detailed improvement plan with the BSP if required & monitor regularly
  • Profit improvement of key PPK contracts – develop alternative hybrid
  • Ensuring BSP’s are ‘connected’ to Bridgestone and using our tools
  • If the above is not possible you will need to find a solution to extract BSP data in a format we can use within our systems
  • Best-in-class service delivery to fleets
  • Supporting Fleet sales colleagues where required
  • Provide training where required to BSP’s on using our systems & fleet compliance

Job Requirements:

  1. A Master’s Degree or other certifications
  2. Good level of written and spoken English
  3. Experience (years): No experience necessary
  4. Knowledge of Fleetbridge and BMS is essential. Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint
  5. Excellent communication skills, analytical and able to identify and respond to trends.
